Self-Funding Patients
Some patients fund their own care. Referrals for self funding-patients can be made via post, by telephone or by e-mail.
It is necessary to fully assess and discuss the diagnosis and treatment plans with patients prior to undertaking any treatment. My primary interest is in providing you with the highest possible quality care. The initial consultation fee is £195, and £120 for a follow-up appointment. X-rays and scans (if required) are charged directly from the hospital on top of my consultation fee.
Surgical procedures are often undertaken on a day-case basis under local or general anaesthetic. If surgery is indicated, the hospital will produce a fixed-price package dependant on the operation required and your choice of anaesthesia.
Insured Patients
I am registered with most insurance companies but you are advised to check your level of cover with your insurer before your first appointment. A GP referral is usually required for patients covered by a health insurance scheme.
