Introduction
This is a half-day, hands-on workshop for HCPC-registered podiatrists with current POM-A annotation who wish to undertake verruca needling and ankle block injections under supervision. All previous attendees have completed Belinda and Ian’s VP needling course, but would like 1:1 oversight when performing tibial blocks.
There is a morning and an afternoon session with a maximum of 3 delegates per session, ensuring each podiatrist has the opportunity to:
– administer an ankle block +/- field anaesthesia
– carry out verruca needling.
This workshop is held at Hackney Podiatry, Hackney, London and co-facilitated by Sarah Crookes. Pre-workshop reading is provided via email on local anaesthesia and neuro-anatomy. Certificates are provided after completion of the workshop.
