Cadaver Dissection, Skin Surgery Revision and LA Practical – SOLD OUT

Outline

This event provides an opportunity for hands-on dissection and surgical procedures of fresh frozen cadavers. It is aimed at podiatrists who wish to improve their LA techniques (including tibial block and local infiltration) before performing Verrucae Needling and/or revising skin surgical procedures, so it is ideal for delegates who are undertaking the RCPod Skin Surgery course or attending the `Verruca Needling and LA Update CPD day 17/10/26.

 

Course Info

This intensive one-day course is taught with the clinician in mind.  Throughout the course, the emphasis is practical, ensuring that delegates leave with new and updated knowledge directly applicable to their field of work.  Limited places are available.  They will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis: places are only confirmed once payment is received.

Aims and Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop tissue handling, local anaesthesia and/or skin surgery skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the detailed anatomy of the lower limb and foot.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of lower limb anatomy pertinent to the function of the lower limb.
  • Appreciate and respect the contribution of the deceased to education.

 

Cost:

£385, which includes:

  • One cadaver specimen between a maximum of three delegates per table
  • Clinical instruction from the appointed Faculty
  • Instrumentation, protective gowns and gloves for wet lab use
  • Tea/coffee and lunch
