Anatomy Dissection Course
Run by a team of Podiatric Surgeons, this event provides an opportunity for hands-on dissection of fresh frozen cadavers and is aimed at MSK podiatrists.
Course Info
This intensive one-day course is designed for the clinician. Throughout the course, the emphasis is practically based on ensuring that delegates leave with new and updated knowledge directly applicable to their field of work. Limited places are available. They will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis: you can reserve a place, but priority will be given to those who have paid for bookings.

Aims and Learning Outcomes
- Develop tissue handling and dissection skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the detailed anatomy of the lower limb and foot.
- Demonstrate knowledge of lower limb anatomy pertinent to the function of the lower limb.
- Appreciate and respect the contribution of the deceased to education.
Cost
£450, which includes:
- One cadaver specimen between three delegates per table
- Clinical instruction from the appointed Faculty
- Instrumentation, protective gowns and gloves for wet lab use
- Tea / coffee and lunch

Terms & Conditions
- We will endeavour to avoid course cancellation wherever possible. Delegates must, however, understand that in exceptional circumstances, courses may have to be cancelled. In such an event, the delegate fee will be fully refunded. Course cancellations occur rarely but remain a possibility.
- Delegate cancellation policy: £50 deductible more than one week before the commencement of the course. After this, there is no refund.
- The organisers recognise that attendance at this course/workshop carries a danger of personal injury. Participants in this course/workshop should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.
- It is the delegate’s responsibility to ensure they have sufficient confidence to use surgical instruments and equipment under guidance, and to maintain their own personal safety and the safety of others at all times during the course/workshop.
- We reserve the right to adjust, amend or change course programmes as we deem appropriate. This is to ensure we can meet the needs of each group flexibly.
- For NHS bookings, please provide the full invoicing details below if you would like me to invoice your Trust directly. Ensure your finance department is aware of arrangements. The delegate is ultimately responsible for all course fees if your employer does not settle them.
- Exclusions – parking and accommodation are NOT included in the course fee.
