VP Needling and LA Update
This CPD day is open to HCPC-registered Podiatrists who hold a current POM-A annotation. It is not a competency-based training day because Verrucae Needling is not considered to be an extended scope of practice. Pre-reading documents, copies of the presentation and videos will be sent (via Google Drive), one week before the event. Certificates of attendance will be issued after the event. It will be live-streamed so you can either attend in person or online via Zoom. It will not be recorded.
Programme Outline:
- Aetiology and manifestation of HPV associated warts/verrucae
- Verrucae management and the evidence base
- Local anaesthesia (update) – anatomy, theory, techniques, demo and videos
- Verrucae Needling – theory and videos

Cost:
In-person – £250: includes lunch (Please advise of any dietary requirements) and refreshments, or online – £125: make your own coffee! Both options include pre-reading (via Google Drive), course notes and dad jokes.
