VP Needling and LA Update
This CPD day is open to HCPC-registered Podiatrists who hold a current POM-A annotation. It is not a competency-based training day because Verrucae Needling is not considered to be an extended scope of practice. Pre-reading documents, copies of the presentation and videos will be sent (via Google Drive), one week before the event. Certificates of attendance will be issued after the event.
Programme Outline:
- Aetiology and manifestation of HPV associated warts/verrucae
- Verrucae management and the evidence base
- Local anaesthesia (update) – anatomy, theory, techniques, demo and videos
- Verrucae Needling – theory and videos
